Sewer Project Stalled; Funds Won't Finish Phase 2

The sewer project has been stalled for months with no re-start in sight.
Mayor Phil Gasteyer said August 16 he’s not sure there’s enough money to move ahead with the Meadowlark-to-Cabezon stretch, much less take the sewer line on down past the Alameda intersection.

The Corrales food pantry garden idea has taken off like a … well, like a bean stalk in July.
In fact, so many beans had to be harvested for local food banks to feed needy families that organizers feared the tasty green beans couldn’t be picked in time.
